THE LAKE AS THE HEART OF THE VALLEY

Long, deep-blue, and lined with sun-warmed beaches, vineyard hillsides, and postcard coves. Stretching roughly 135 km through the Okanagan, it connects lake towns like Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Peachland, making it perfect for boat tours that feel like you’ve left the world onshore. okanagan mountain park okanagan boating

THE ENERGETIC HUB

Downtown waterfront views, open water for cruising, and easy access to the lake’s most iconic routes. From here, your tour can lean scenic (shoreline highlights and photo stops) or full-on lake-day (swim coves, sunset chasing, and “one more lap” around the bay).

Across the water, West Kelowna brings a calmer, more tucked-away shoreline feel—quiet coves, soft evening light, and a front-row view back toward Kelowna’s skyline. It sits on the west shore of Okanagan Lake, making it a natural way to build a “two-sides-of-the-lake” experience into one cruise.

Peachland

THE CHARMING MIDPOINT

Further south, Peachland is the charming midpoint—small-town lake energy with a walkable waterfront and a laid-back pace. It’s set on the lake’s western shore and is known for a long lakeside trail (about 7 km), making it a perfect “cruise past, stop, swim, and linger” kind of destination.

And then there’s the legend-stop: Rattlesnake Island—a low, rocky landmark on Okanagan Lake directly east of Peachland, with the surrounding shoreline forming part of Okanagan Mountain Park. It’s the kind of spot that instantly feels like an “Okanagan-only” moment: dramatic hills behind you, glassy water in front, and the storybook lore of Ogopogo in the air.
